about

A contemporary work based around traditional tabla compositional forms called paran, featuring a sub-type, parmelu, in the refrain, which uses vocal percussion syllables that emulate sounds from nature. Thanks to my teachers Taalyogi Suresh Talwalkar and Pandit Swapan Chaudhuri.
